Sugarbee’s Listening Barn

Sugarbee’s Listening Barn in Huntington, TX is opening its doors to the community with a grand opening event this Saturday, May 24, from 5–8 PM. Located in a newly transformed barn-style building next to my parents’ home, Sugarbee’s is the result of many months of hard work, creativity, and a passion for live music.

Sugarbee’s Listening Barn is officially opening its doors this Saturday, May 24, from 5–8 PM with a community-focused grand opening celebration. Located in a beautifully restored barn next to my parents’ home, Sugarbee’s is more than just a venue—it’s a passion project built to bring people together through live music.

Originally just an old workshop, Sugarbee’s has been transformed into a charming space where music takes center stage. My dad and our family have spent countless hours cleaning, building, and painting to create a place where local songwriters and fans can gather, listen, and connect. The space offers the rustic feeling of an old dancehall with the sound and soul of a true listening venue.

Opening night will feature a lineup of talented local musicians—my dad included—sharing original music and stories. While I won’t be performing due to a show in Pickton, I’ve got a future date on the books featuring a very special guest, so stay tuned!

Whether you’re an artist, music fan, or just someone looking for a great time, Sugarbee’s was made with you in mind. It’s a place where community and creativity meet.
